Liberal Arts
The Liberal Arts program is a general curriculum designed primarily for students who have not necessarily selected a specific major but who wish to transfer to a four-year institution with an Associate of Arts Degree. It gives students an opportunity to explore a number of different intellectual and vocational options. A liberal education is one which prepares students not only for a particular job but for life-long learning in a society which demands increasingly diverse skills. Therefore, the coursework listed below stresses both variety and scope.
