Social Science
The Social Sciences examine the basic institutions of
society: how they are structured, how they function,
how they are related, and how they interact with human
behaviors. Coursework in the Social Sciences develops
skills in observation, critical analysis, and cross-cultural
awareness. In a society growing rapidly more complex,
the Social Sciences help prepare students for the
demands of daily life.
