    Coach Reed enters her second season as the women's basketball coach at Dodge City Community College but is no stranger to the Lady Conquistador basketball program. Reed was a member of the Lady Conquistador basketball team during the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 seasons.

    During her playing days at Dodge City, Reed earned All-KJCCC Western Division Honorable Mention status and is in the top ten in several categories. Reed's 03-04 squad reached the Region VI finals and was nationally ranked for 11 weeks.

    Coach Reed then transferred to NCAA Division I Birmingham Southern College in Birmingham, AL, where she received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Educational Services.

    Crystal entered the coaching ranks as an assistant at the University of Illinois-Springfield. During her three years on staff, the Prairie Stars transitioned from an NAIA program to a member of the Great Lakes Conference and NCAA Division II status.

    Reed is a native of San Antonio, Texas, where she graduated from Sam Houston High School. During her senior year, Coach Reed was the MVP of the San Antonio Independent School District and made the San Antonio All City team.
