Family Place Library Open Play Day is a chance for parents or caregivers to join with their preschoolers as they play with the creative toys and manipulatives at Dodge City Public Library. On Thursday, January 26th this program for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers will be combined with a special story that will take place at 10:00 am with play time from 9-12 before and after the story time. This is a special time for you to spend with your child in a play environment.
It is proven that play is one of the best methods for children to learn and that the parent is their first teacher. So, bring your preschooler and join him or her in some creative play with some family-friendly toys and a special story time. This is also a chance to visit with other parents or caregivers and share ideas. Some parenting books will also be available for checkout that day. Come and play with your preschooler for as long as you wish. No registration is required, just come and enjoy.
