The Kappa Psi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society has been selected to receive a REACH Reward, for 2018. REACH is an acronym that stands for Recognizing Excellence in Acceptance and Completion with Honors. Those chapters who achieve or exceed 15% for their membership acceptance rate are eligible to be selected.
In recognition of their accomplishment, Kappa Psi received 9 Phi Theta Kappa key stoles to be worn upon graduation. This year, the logo on the stole celebrates Phi Theta Kappa’s 100-year history and is for sale on the Phi Theta Kappa website. Recruitment has been very active, for Kappa Psi, under this year’s sponsor, DC3 Associate Professor of English Brandi Spelbring, and the REACH reward is a reflection of that effort as well as the academic excellence of our DC3 student body.
Congratulations to the Kappa Psi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. We look forward to seeing those students in their REACH reward stoles at graduation in May.
