Dodge City Community College will be hosting an Economics Workshop on April 12th, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM and April 13th, from 8:30-1:00PM in the Little Theater. The workshop will be led by DC3 Economics Instructor Asmaa Yaseen. It will be open to the public and will focus on the discussion and exploration of real-world modern economic issues such as the wage gap, income inequality, and President Trump’s trade policies.
Students will participate in debates and design posters as well as put on presentations. The event will also feature guest speaker Mr. Gregory Leung, Economic Ph.D. student at the University of Kansas, following a documentary film viewing over the U.S. economy. There will be economics-centered social activities such as trivia and voting for the best debate and poster.
