On Wednesday, March 27, nearly 200 students came together at the Dodge City Community College (DC3) Student Activity Center for lunch during Construction Day. This event, which is a partnership with the Dodge City/Ford County Development Corporation, invites students from area schools to tour local construction companies and to explore potential career paths in construction. This year, Avigael Gonzalez of Hutton Construction gave the keynote address, and Conant Construction LLC, Hutton Construction, and Building Solutions LLC served as sponsors. During the lunchtime meeting, five seniors were chosen at random to receive $500 scholarships to DC3 for the 2024-25 academic year.
