On Thursday, March 6, Dodge City Community College (DC3) hosted the Dodge City Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Dodge class. The group explored the diverse range of educational opportunities and resources available to students at DC3, as well as the strong relationships DC3 creates with the community in order to support learning and personal growth.

Among the DC3 representatives presenting were: Dr. Harold Nolte, DC3 President; Lance Ziesch, Director of Marketing and Public Relations; Christina Haselhorst, Director of Financial Aid and Interim Director of Foundation; Jay Gooldy, Assistant Professor of English; Dr. Clayton Tatro, Vice President for Workforce Development; and Jennifer Lix, Director of Nursing.

Through the Leadership Dodge program, participants gain insight into becoming effective leaders and increasing their civic involvement by learning about leadership principles and exploring with various segments of the community. The day also included a guided tour on campus by Amery Macias Adame, a DC3 freshman, from Dodge City.
