DC3 Foundation Receives Grant for Art Display

The Dodge City Community College (DC3) Foundation received a $5,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Southwest Kansas (CFSK) during a reception at the Mariah Gallery at Boot Hill Museum on Wednesday, Nov. 12. The grant will help fund the purchase of display cases for the Newby Art Collection, allowing the college to properly showcase and preserve its growing collection of artwork. Present to receive the grant check were Dr. Harold Nolte, DC3 President; Tegan Wenzl, DC3 Events Coordinator; Aaron Barnes, CFSK Program Director and Board of Director; Michael Marino, DC3 Foundation and Community Relations Director; and Ryan Ausmus, CFSK Executive Director.
