Conveniently located on campus, the Dodge City Community College Child Development Center provides full-time care for children from 2½ through 5 years old. The center is staffed by professional caregivers who plan activities for the children that enhance their social, emotional, intellectual and physical development. The Child Development Center is licensed by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. The center operates year-round, including times when Dodge City Community College classes are not in session. Enrollment into the program is open to the general public as well as Dodge City Community College students and staff.
The primary purpose of the CDC is to serve as a laboratory facility for practicum courses for Dodge City Community College Early Childhood Education students, as well as for student from related fields.
