Your transcript is the official, permanent record of all the courses you have taken while attending Dodge City Community College.  In accordance with the Public Information Act and Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1974, as amended, student academic records are classified as confidential and may be released only with the student’s written authorization and signature.  NO ONE ELSE (including your spouse, parent, etc.) can request your transcript, as your written permission is required by law.  Dodge City Community College has authorized Parchment to manage the ordering, processing, and secure delivery of student transcripts.  Transcripts will not be issued if any financial obligations exist with Dodge City Community College.

How to Order a Transcript

Register with Parchment to request a Dodge City Community College transcript, you’ll need to go to parchment.com and click the “Send a Transcript” link in the header.

A one-time account set up is required. You will be asked for your:

  • Enrollment status (currently or not currently enrolled)
  • Birth date and last four digits of your SSN
  • Student ID number. If unknown, please enter the last 4 digits of your SSN
  • Email address

This information is required to ensure proper student matching.  If you are not sure of the exact attendance dates, please indicate approximate dates.

Once you have completed the set up, you will receive an email from Parchment asking you to confirm your email address. Once you do that, you are ready to begin requesting transcript through the Parchment website. All transcripts sent through Parchment are official.

A hold on your account will not prevent you from requesting a transcript through Parchment and you will be assessed the transcript fees. However, we will not be able to release your transcript until the hold is resolved.

Transcripts request are not accepted by telephone.

Transcript Fee

The transcript cost is based on the method of delivery and destination. During the ordering process you will be able to see the exact charge prior to entering your credit card information. Transcripts must be paid by credit card at the time of the order. Parchment accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.  The fees are as follows:

Currently Enrolled Students

Students who are currently enrolled are charged a $2.25 fee per electronically sent transcript for the first three electronically sent transcript. After the first three transcripts are sent there will be a $7.25 fee per transcript.  Any hardcopy transcript delivered by U.S.P.S. (domestic only) will be charged an additional $2.50, and any hard copy transcript delivered next afternoon (domestic only) will be charged an additional $25.00.

Former Students

Former Students are charged $7.25 per transcript.  Any hardcopy transcript delivered by U.S.P.S. (domestic only) will be charged an additional $2.50, and any hard copy transcript delivered next afternoon (domestic only) will be charged an additional $25.00.

Parchment should be contacted for questions concerning the registration or ordering process or for user interface issues. Inquiries concerning a transcript that cannot be released because of a hold should contact the college office that placed the hold.

Make your request at the Records’s Office, Dodge City Community College, 2501 N. 14th, Dodge City, KS.  Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  Please have your Student ID or driver’s license available for identification purposes.
