Become a Student Ambassador!
Become a Student Ambassador at Dodge City Community College and be a part of what makes DC3 feel like home. This talented group is the face, voice, and lifeblood of our campus. Every year we choose seven students to share their unique experiences with our prospective students through campus tours, events, and social media. It’s a great opportunity to build leadership and communication skills, meet new people, get involved on campus, and help future students see why DC3 could be the right fit for them. If you’re proud to be a Conquistador and want to make a difference, we’d love to have you on our team!
What Do Ambassadors Do?
Our Student Ambassadors work alongside the Admissions Office and have a variety tasks, such as:
- Give campus and housing tours to prospective students, families, and various groups.
- Assist with Admissions events such as Orientation, Senior Day, and Junior Experience.
- Create social media content.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to college-related surveys and focus groups.
- Assist with various in-office tasks as assigned.
Scholarship Information
The Student Ambassador Scholarship is $2,000 per year ($1,000 fall semester/$1,000 spring semester)
- Available to freshman and sophomores
- Enrolled in 12+ credit hours
- Have and maintain a 3.0 GPA
- Must be a high school graduate with an official transcript on file
- Must have 5 or more hours of availability to work in the office between 9am and 3pm
- Fall and Spring semesters only
- Nonrefundable
How to Apply
Returning Student Ambassadors get priority consideration for available scholarships with remaining opportunities offered to new students as needed. Potential candidates will be contacted by email to schedule an interview. If chosen, students will be required to attend Ambassador Training the week prior to school starting.
The deadline to complete the application is April 1, 2027. Interviews will tentatively begin the week of April 12th.
