General Studies


The Associate of Arts in General Studies offers a flexible, interdisciplinary degree designed for students who want to explore multiple fields of study while building strong academic skills. This program emphasizes critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving through coursework in the humanities, social sciences, fine arts, natural or physical sciences, and mathematics. The General Studies degree is ideal for students who are undecided about a major, returning to college after time away, or seeking a broad educational foundation that can support a variety of career or academic goals. With guidance from academic advisors, students can customize their coursework to reflect personal interests and future plans.
