The Kappa Psi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society at Dodge City Community College (DC3) inducted 14 new members and installed four new officers Tuesday, April 19.
The new members inducted were Jennifer Katz, sophomore from Springfield, Neb.; Hailey Ellis, sophomore from Meade, Kan.; Damian Garcia, sophomore from Dodge City, Kan.; Juan Camilo Susa Cortes, freshman from Bogotá, Colombia; Alan Cervantes, sophomore from Cimarron, Kan; Steven Brown, sophomore from Dodge City, Kan.; Litzy Rosales, Vice President of Service, freshman from Atlanta, Ga.; Olivia Ortiz, sophomore from Dodge City, Kan.; Yesenia Lopez, sophomore from Dodge City, Kan.; Perla Acuna, Vice President of Fellowship, freshman from Norcross, Ga.; Janik Buch, Vice President of Leadership, freshman from Süderbrarup, Germany; Brisa Ontiberos, freshman from Dodge City, Kan.; Addison Spencer, freshman from Vernon, Texas; and Reese Unruh, freshman from Greensburg, Kan.
In order to be eligible for PTK, students must have completed at least 12 hours of coursework toward an associate or bachelor’s degree (or at least six hours of coursework toward a one-year certificate) and have a cumulative 3.0 grade point average.
