On Thursday, March 30, Dodge City Community College (DC3) hosted a luncheon meeting for nearly 130 high school students from across the state as part of Construction Day. The event, which is planned by the Dodge City/Ford County Development Corporation and the Community Housing Association of Dodge City (CHAD), encourages students to view construction as a viable career field and helps to introduce them to the DC3 Building Construction Technology Program. High school seniors winning $500 scholarships to DC3 for 2023-24 include (left to right) Osvaldo Lopez, Dodge City High School; Juan Mireles, Dodge City High School; Manuel Carrillo, Dodge City High School; Evan Pyle, Dodge City High School; and Garrett Danaher, Hodgeman County High School.
