Admissions Policies
A person can be admitted to Dodge City Community College if they meet at least one of the following requirements:
- A graduate of an accredited high school.
- A successful completer of the General Education Development (GED) examination.
- A person 18 years of age or older.
- A graduate of an approved homeschool program or a non-accredited private school. Students must submit evidence of their academic status in the form of a diploma, transcript or assessment exams.
- A high school sophomore, junior or senior student with written permission from the high school principal.
- A student enrolled in grades 9 through 12 in a recognized gifted program with written permission from the high school principal.
- A transfer student, in good standing, from a regionally accredited university/college. The college reserves the right to deny admission or re-admission to any individual determined by the Dean of Students to be a threat to the community college.
